Intro to Docker — 28th March

Docker is the world’s leading software container platform. Developers use Docker to eliminate “works on my machine” problems when collaborating on code with co-workers. Docker is used to run and manage apps side-by-side in isolated containers. Enterprises use Docker to build agile software delivery pipelines to ship new features faster, more securely and with confidence.

During this workshop you’ll learn the basics of Docker and Software Containers including setting up Docker, running your first container, creating a basic web application with Python and Docker, and how to push the Docker Image to DockerHub.

Rob and Guru will take you through the process practically, from selecting components that work together to completing your build, along with an overview of what the part do.

Interested in Web Development but don't know where to start or what is being used in the insustry today?

Rob and Matt will be showing you the ropes of the latest trends in Web Tech including NodeJS, Ruby on Rails and PHP.

It can seem complicated looking this stuff up online but we want to make it simple for you.
